About SHoreline Skate Park
Shoreline Sports Park, Charlesland is the home of the largest Skate Park in the country, with a very interesting and innovative design that will offer skaters a unique skating/BMXing experience unrivaled anywhere in Ireland. Skateboards, Rollerblades and BMX bikes are only permitted in this facility.
For insurance reasons, scooters are not permitted in the Skate Park.
What To KNow Before Visiting Our Skate Park!

- Only children over the age of 10 years are permitted in the Skate Park. This is due to insurance reasons.
- In order to be admitted, the child must have a helmet.
- There is no admittance to the park when it is wet; due to health and safety/insurance criteria.
- Admittance to the park may be limited due to overcrowding.
- Management have the right to refuse admission to the skate park based on previous behaviour.
- Minimum of 4-6 people are required for floodlights to be turned on in the evenings. After 8pm the lights will be turned on if needed.-Occasionally admittance to the park may not be permitted due to overcrowding.

On any day when the weather is questionable ring the centre before you venture out there. For insurance reasons, the Skate Park does not open if it is wet, please contact Reception before making long journeys to the Park to ensure that the Park will be open.

Yes, helmets are compulsory to wear. No access is permitted to the Skate Park without a helmet. Any person found not wearing a helmet whilst using the Skate Park will be asked to leave by staff. Helmets are available to hire from Reception.

Yes, our outdoor skatepark has lights. A minimum of 4-6 people are required for lights to be turned on in the evenings.
