Fitness Class Descriptions

Spinning: This is a group indoor cycling class using stationary bikes. In this fantastic cardiovascular workout you’re kept motivated by the instructor, people around you & by the high energy music. Spinning classes are always fun, energetic and addictive.

Bodyworx Blast: Up tempo strength and conditioning class using all the state of the art equipment BodyWorx has to offer.

Ab Blast: This is a 30 minute class of hardcore abdominal work.  It focuses on toning and defining the abs and strengthening the back to improve posture and core strength. Exercises are performed using the fit-ball and/or lying on the floor.

TRX: In our specialised TRX studio, pur instructors will takem you through a 45 minute suspension training working throughout numerous exercises to get you fit and strong.

Kettlebells: A dedicated kettle bell class, using an array of weights and exercises to achieve your goals, in a different routine than any other class.

Les Mills Bodypump: BODYPUMP® is the “original barbell” class that strengthens your entire body and challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast!

Cardiac Rehab: Group fitness class for individual who have been referred from a phase 3 cardiac rehabilitation program to phase 4.

Strongman: At BodyWorx we design our strongman classes with the primary goal to drop as much bodyfat as possible whilst building functional lean muscle.

Bodycore: Is intensive workout for toning those ‘challenging’ areas using barbells, weights & motivating music to push you to your limits. Body Sculpt is a great class for anyone who wants to add strength training & body conditioning to their aerobic workout.

Teen Fit: Teen Gym is a fully supervised class in the gym and fitness studios using body resistance and cardiovascular exercises. It will help with team building, confidence and mental well being.

Aqua/ Aqua Fit: This invigorating class held in the pool improves cardiovascular conditioning, muscular strength and endurance using the buoyancy and resistance of the water to give you a safe, effective, fun and “no sweat” workout.
